Great set! Love all the different flavors. Works as described and the smoky oils add to the flavor of my Old Fashioneds. Only thing that could be better was if the lighter held more fluid.

This is a complete kit that can smoke any drink. It took a short time trying different amounts of wood to get the hang of it and after a couple loads of wood chips it was more than enough smoke for my whiskey.I was at a bar that used mason jars with lids to seal the smoke in so you could shake your drink to get even more infusion happening. That will be my next purchase. For now though the included lid and smoking tray works well with a couple of firings to get a good amount of smoke on top of a drink.This is so cool to be able to do this at home. It just needed some butane which I had on hand already.

This is a decent starter kit for making smoky drinks. The lighter is okay and there aren't a lot wood chips, but you can use it immediately; you have everything you need to start making drinks. Except the butane and the drink itself.You'll have to play with the torch lighter a bit to get it to work properly; mine would get stuck on, or the flame would go out but it would leak butane--like turning on a grill without ignition. I fiddled with it, mainly adjusted the flame height at the bottom, and now it's better.You can get a better lighter and more wood chips for a lot cheaper, so you're really paying for the wooden smoker 'hat' and convenience of having a lighter and some wood chips ready to go--ideal for a gift, because the person can test it out immediately. But you will burn through the wood chips fast, you'll will probably switch lighters, and in the long run, you'll really only keep the wooden 'hat' and the wood box.I got this for free through Amazon Vine.

This is a very nice whiskey smoker set. It comes with 4 different flavors, the smoker top, and a lighter all in a very pretty box. Yes, the lighter does not come with butane but this is because when shipping butane, it can only be shipped by ground mail. It can not be by air. It would take forever for these items to be delivered to you. There are no instructions that come with it but they do have some listed on this page. They only thing they do not tell you is how long to smoke it for. We did it for about 3 minutes or so and it gave it a decent flavor. It will be something we experiment with as we learn. Also, a little bit goes a long way! Do not feel like you need to fill up the whole bowl. This is a really neat set and our first one we ever used. We think it is really cool and definitely a fancy cocktail additive to impress your guests!

Such a fun addition to our bar. This smoker kit comes complete accept for the butane for the lighter, which is understandable. Adds subtle flavor to a beverage and takes the bite off of others. We had an older model which didn’t have a cap, the cap with this one is simple but useful feature to direct the smoke into the glass. But be sure you start with a cold beverage to help pull the smoke down. They don’t give you instructions with the kit, so read up before you use it. Only complaint is that the lighter has a safety lock but I can’t seem to turn it on. Also a great gift for anyone that enjoys a good nightcap.

This kit has everything you need to make a great smoked cocktail. The wood chip assortment is perfect - the chips are small and slightly shaved and they fit nicely into the screen. There is no butane included but that was expected. The feel of the torch is hefty and good quality. It comes in a wood box and has a spoon and cleaning brush included. For the price point, this is a really good value for someone who is experimenting with smoked cocktails at home. I would purchase again to give as a gift in the future.

This kit is fantastic. I will mention my lighter didn't come with much butane (possibly shipping restrictions) so expect to get some of that to fill up the lighter. That said, the kit comes in a nice wooden box and has everything you need. 4 different types of wood chips, the lighter, a brush and spoon for the wood chips, and the lid/topper you light the chips in to smoke your drink.I used it and it was easy and effective. Adds both scent and flavor to your cocktail. I'm very happy with this kit.

The wood chips are amazing and not only do the smell wonderfully but they infuse your drink nicely. It comes with everything you need to infuse you cocktails. I love the top because you don't have to use just the wood it comes with you can use any "flavors". The torch was easy to use and overall this kit was a huge hit for our party.

So several years ago I went to a really high end restaurant and they had a Smoked Root Beer Float. It was one of the most delicious things I have had. I thought I could only get this here. Then i stopped in at a local distillery and they had several smoked drinks, it was their specialty. I am a huge fan of the smoked flavor. So when I seen this, I had to get it and try it out.This is perfect for adding the smoke to various drinks. There is a small gun a variety of wood chips in a small case. The gun does require butane which is not included. However, I understand why. It has several harsh restrictions on storing and shipping a flammable gas. I go camping a lot and got a small butane refillable torch to take which again butane sold separately. So I already had a couple small canisters I could easily inject into the gun. This would be the only thing that might give people pause for ordering but really I do not think any of these would include the gas needed as shipping the gas is a pain. However you can order the gas from Amazon as well, it just comes slower.
