So many cocktail shakers do a poor job of pouring, without leaking everywhere. This one's pour spout is constructed very intelligently, and it is easy to pour a drink into any glassware without spilling it.The top has a rubber seal that forms a nice watertight seal when inserted into the glass bottom. And the lid fits snugly, and doesn't leak thus far. I am hesitant to put the top half into the dishwasher, even the top rack, as I wouldn't want to damage the integrity of that nice rubber seal. But, it's easy enough to keep it clean, without a dishwasher.As a bonus, the glass looks nice, and has several recipes on the side. As I write this, I am drinking a White Russian (double... made it twice, using the lines on the glass, poured them both into one tall glass with ice). I am also looking forward to having a kamikaze, and was pleasantly surprised to see the recipe on the side, as most people are familiar with the shot, but not the drink.It looks nice, and works well. So, I'd call it a good buy.If it starts leaking, I will come back and modify my review; otherwise, assume it's still working great for us.
